Parent Participation & Volunteer Support
Pack 867 is a family-supported program, and our pack succeeds because families contribute their time, talents, and participation to help create a great experience for the Scouts.
All families are expected to contribute in some capacity during the program year, whether through:
- Serving in an active volunteer role,
- Helping lead a den or pack meeting,
- Assisting with events or activities,
- Or supporting the pack behind the scenes in the Pack Committee
Many volunteer opportunities are small, flexible, or occasional, and we work to match parents with roles that fit their interests, skills, and availability.
We are currently seeking volunteers for several important positions, including:
- Cubmaster
- Assistant Cubmasters
- Den Leaders & Assistant Den Leaders
- Advancement Support
- Event & Camping Coordination
- Communications & Administrative Support/ Newsletter Editor(s)
Families interested in registered leadership roles may complete an adult volunteer application.
Parents interested in helping with specific events, activities, or non-registered volunteer opportunities should complete our Parent Talent Survey.
Completion of the Parent Talent Survey is required for all families annually so we can better coordinate volunteer support and ensure responsibilities are shared across the pack community.
Thank you for helping keep Pack 867 strong for our Scouts!
